Dr. Abiy Worku Haile
Dr. Abiy Worku Haile is a highly experienced orthopedic surgeon in Addis Ababa. He is an Assistant Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at Saint Paul’s Millennium Medical College (SPHMMC) and excels at hip replacement, knee replacement, knee pain treatment, arthroscopy, trauma surgery, and spinal fusion. Dr. Haile also specializes in performing arthroscopy with minimally invasive surgery using computer navigation techniques and technologies. In addition, Dr. Haile is associated with top hospitals in Addis Ababa as a senior orthopedic consultant. He consults and provides treatments at Ethio Istanbul General Hospital and Hallelujah Hospital. He is also a member of the African Trauma Initiative team at Fracture Central, with headquarters in Kansas.
Dr. Haile’s rich educational background consists of an MBBS from Addis Ababa University and residency training in orthopedic surgery from the University of Kansas Medical Center. He was one of the first graduates of the International Trauma Fellowship Program at the University of Kansas Medical Center. Through his deep expertise and experience, Dr. Haile has helped numerous patients with complex fractures and trauma.
