Cardiac Center Ethiopia
Cardiac Center Ethiopia is the best cardiology hospital in Addis Ababa. This hospital was established in 1989 as Children’s Heart Fund Ethiopia to provide emergency cardiac treatments in Ethiopia. During 1989-2009 this hospital worked toward arranging life-saving surgeries overseas for 2,600 children through collaborations and donations in countries like India, Israel, and Spain. In 2009 this hospital inaugurated the first cardiac center in Addis Ababa for sustainable solutions in Ethiopia. Presently this center provides expert care to more than 4,000 young patients locally.
Cardiac Center Ethiopia aims to provide free heart surgeries in upcoming times by raising public awareness with global support, ensuring that every child gets access to critical cardiac care. This center also making efforts to train Ethiopian cardiologists and nurses to build the best and self-sufficient cardiac care system. Presently this center provides ICU ward services equipped with advanced technology for critical care for adults and pediatric patients.
