Dr. Amezene Tadesse

Dr. Amezene Tadesse is a Professor of Pediatric Surgery at Black Lion Hospital, School of Medicine and a consultant pediatric surgeon. He practices at Black Lion Hospital and Addis Hiwot General Hospital. Dr. Tadesse specializes in neonatal surgery, pediatric urology, surgical oncology, hernia treatment, and Hydronephrosis. His innovative research has enriched the field of pediatric surgical care significantly in Ethiopia. Dr. Tadesse’s long eperience spans over 20 years wherein he held eminent positions as a general surgeon and then a top pediatric surgeon.
He completed his education from Addis Ababa University and then progressed to fellowship training in pediatric surgery at Christian Medical College and Hopital. Dr. Tadesse gained comprehensive experience by working as a general practitioner and then a pediatric surgery consultant at several leading hospitals. He wrote a series of papers showcasing his knowledge in his domain. Today, he is highly-regarded not only for his experince and knowledge but also for his compassionate approach to treat children suffering from various defects.
