Dr. Temesgen Beyene
Dr. Temesgen Beyene Abicho is an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine and Critical Care at Addis Ababa University (AAU). He is a distinguished medical professional in the field of critical care medicine and is known for his significant contributions in treating patients with multiple organ dysfunction. Dr. Abicho is a postgraduate in Global Clinical Scholars Research Training from the prestigious Harvard Medical School in the U.S. In addition, he is the current Point of Care Ultrasound (POCUS) lead at the Department of Emergency Medicine in AAU. He has also received the Developing Countries POCUS Educator Scholar 2020 from the Emergency Medicine Ultrasound Group (EMUG) of Australia.
Dr. Beyene has a fellowship at the Ultrasound Leadership Academy. So, he is highly adept at recognizing severe problems in soft tissues, bones, and joints and managing pathologies like cellulitis, fractures, fasciitis, and joint dislocation. Dr. Abicho works dedicatedly to alleviate the condition of critically ill and injured patients and trains undergraduate and postgraduate students in the same.
