Dr. Esubalew Woldeyes
Dr. Esubalew Woldeyes is an internist and cardiologist in Addis Ababa. He specializes as an internal medicine cardiologist at Washington Medical Center. Dr. Woldeyes is also the Associate Professor of Internal Medicine at St. Paul’s Hospital Millennium Medical College (SPHMMC). He has over 15 years of experience in managing conditions like coronary artery disease, cardiac attacks, heart rhythm abnormalities, and heart failure. Besides treating cardiac ailments, Dr. Woldeyes provides preventative counseling and healthcare services to both adult and pediatric patients.
Dr. Woldeyes is an eminent cardiologist, educator, and an avid researcher. After completing his medical studies and subspecialization in cardiology, he began working as an internist and Professor at SPHMMC. His long association with one of Ethiopia’s leading teaching hospitals allowed him to gain substantial exposure in diagnosing and treating a wide variety of cases. In 2019, he was a part of the University of Cincinnati Rwanda Initiative to improve cardiac care outcomes and accessibility in his country. In addition, he authored over 12 research papers on cardiology, which have been published in national and international journals in medicine.
