Dr. Mamo Deksisa
Dr. Mamo Deksisa is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports arthroscopy and arthroplasty. He currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at St. Paul’s Hospital Millennium Medical College (SPHMMC), Marcia Surgical Center and AaBET Hospital in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Dr. Deksisa’s extensive education and training include undergraduate and specialty studies at Addis Ababa University Medical Faculty, followed by subspecialty training in sports arthroscopy and arthroplasty at Alexandria University, El Hadar Hospital in Egypt. His professional journey is marked by significant academic and clinical contributions, reflecting his commitment to advancing orthopedic surgery in Ethiopia.
In addition to his academic roles, Dr. Deksisa is the Chief Executive Officer of Dream Orthopedic, Trauma, and Spine Center in Addis Ababa, where he has been instrumental in enhancing the quality of orthopedic care. His previous experience includes serving as an Assistant Professor at Hawassa University Referral Hospital and working as a medical doctor at Haramaya University.
