Dr. Dessalegn Lemessa

Dr. Dessalegn Lemessa is a pediatrician in Addis Ababa. He is the head of the pediatric department at Myungsung Comprehensive Specialized Hospital (MCM Hospital). Dr. Lemessa has close to 15 years of experience as a pediatric expert. He is skilled in every aspect of newborn, child, and adolescent care. A dedicated child health specialist, Dr. Lemessa completed his medical studies at Addis Ababa University and underwent rigorous residency training in Pediatrics and Child Health.

After receiving the certification of specialization, Dr. Lemessa worked at Ambo General Hospital and Keren General Hospital. He joined MCM Medical College as a pediatrician and soon became associate professor, followed by head of the pediatric department. So far, he has played a major role in executing various surgical and non-surgical interventions for children and newborns. Patients appreciate his deep knowledge and genuine enthusiasm for helping children feel fit and fine.
