Tikur Anbessa Comprehensive Specialized Hospital is located in Lideta Sub City, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. This hospital was established in 1972, it was the only hospital training medical doctors. It became a teaching hospital of the college in 1998 known as the largest specialized hospital in Ethiopia with more than 700 beds, and serves as a training center for undergraduate and postgraduate medical studies, nurses, dentists, midwives, pharmacists, radiology technologists, and lab technologists. It is also an institution for specialized clinical services that are not available in other public or private institutions.

Tikur Anbessa Comprehensive Specialized Hospital has 200 doctors, 379 nurses, and 115 different health professionals dedicated to offering health care services. There are different departments, faculties, and residents under specialty medical training in the school of medicine that offer patient care in the hospital. This hospital also has 950 permanent and different contract administrative staff to assist patients. Additionally, this hospital is affiliated with the School of Medicine and federal hospitals in Addis Ababa as training sites.
